Working with me

What to expect

From your first message to your finished gallery.

  1. Inquiry

    Say hello

    Tell me what you're planning.

Send a short note with the date, the place, and what the day is. A few lines is plenty; if some details aren't settled yet, that's fine.

I read every message myself and reply personally, and I'll tell you whether I'm free.

From you: A date, a place, and a sentence or two about the day.

  2. The call

    Plan together

A short conversation, so nothing is left to chance.

We talk it through on a short call, or by email if you'd rather: the schedule, the people who matter most, the moments you can't miss, and anything you'd prefer I didn't photograph.

For a surprise proposal we pick the spot and the timing; for a milestone birthday we go through who's coming and the moments that matter. Events get their quote here, clearly set out, with any travel included.

From you: Anything you already know about the day.

  3. Deposit

    Reserve your date

When it feels right, your date becomes yours.

When you're ready to book, a retainer holds your date. Once it's paid, the date is set aside for you.

  4. The day

    The work

I work quietly, in the background.

I don't line people up or ask for smiles; I watch for what actually happens.

When a little direction helps, it's quick and calm, and it puts you back into your day rather than pulling you out of it. You don't need to manage me.
